博士（工学）、構造設計一級建築士。名古屋大学大学院修了、佐々木睦朗構造計画研究所、京都大学を経て2019年より現職。2008年The 6th IASS Hangai prize、2014年日本建築学会奨励賞、2015年前田工学賞受賞。

brief history :

Expert in the structural engineering of architecture. Explores a novel and rational structural design approach using structural mechanics, structural optimization, and digital techniques to realize a sustainable and reliable architecture. Received the 6th IASS Hangai prize (2008), the Encouragement Prize of AIJ (2014), and the Maeda Engineering Award (2015).
